A636: Ivory, Tortoise Shell, MOP, Lute

This is a very unusual item.  It is a miniature Lute made from three precious materials.  The body and arm are made from Tortoise Shell.  The tuning pegs, frets, and hole are made from ivory. Then is has Mother of Pearl inlay around the body.  This is indeed a masterpiece of miniature art.
It measures 5 1/2" long
Circa probably very early 20th century.
